The handlight is also designed in a lightweight aluminum frame and comes with a rechargeable battery (16340 at 650mAh), which can be recharged.The HX5R light has a built-in male USB connector located under the tail cap. To charge the light, plug the USB plug into a USB power source.The USB connector has short-circuit protection to protect the device it is plugged in to.The rechargeable battery is built into a cartridge to prevent attempts to charge a standard CR123 battery.There are 2 LEDs in the end cap next to the USB connector.
